Dear friends, we are now into the second week of the season of Lent - those forty days, (not counting Sundays) where we are preparing ourselves for the New Life of Easter. I wrote in our first volume of the 2025 Lenten Times about the significance of this season of waiting and watching and preparation.
The Taproot PNW Community is shifting from a monthly to a bi-monthly meeting, with social gatherings in between. And so, we met last night for a lovely gathering of Taproot PNW. As we find our way together, we share a meal, music, stories and reflections while the kiddos move in and out of our midst. It is a very sweet gift to be together.
If you make it to the Oregon Coast on a 1st or 3rd Sunday afternoon, feel free to join us! We'd love to have you at the table.
And for those times when you are unable to join us in person, you can always pop into our social media pages to see our latest posts.
Below, you'll see a few of the posts from the first week of Lent.
And finally, since today is the Feast day of St Patrick, we want to wish you a very joyful day with a Blessing of the song we opened worship with last night: "Be Thou My Vision".
